Updated Look at Vulcan's Lakefront Blocks in South Lake Union

Vulcan Real Estate took its updated plans for the Lakefront Blocks project in front of the design review board last night and now we get a chance to see the evolving project that's going to remake the South Lake Union skyline. Previously, we got a good look at Block 31 and Block 37, but the updated plans include renderings for Block 25, an approximately 250-unit complex on the easternmost side with 5,400 sq. ft. of retail and approx. 255 underground parking units. Centerpiece Block 31 calls for 250 residential units, some retail and 275 underground parking stalls. Block 37 at the west edge would be the retail hub with 14,150 sq. ft., 230 residential units and 350 underground parking stalls. Check out the updated renderings and see how you feel about the 160-foot-tall buildings changing the face of South Lake Union.
