Tukwila's all growns up, you guys. On Thursday, September 25, developers Omar and Christine Lee will break ground on Washington Place, a 418K square-foot, $120M, 19-story tower that will be the tallest building in town when completed. One piece of the building will be residential, consisting of 370 market-rate apartments, rooftop garden, club house, and fitness facility. The other pierce is a 189-room hotel that includes 6K square feet of meeting space and a 90-seat restaurant. Mulvanny G2, Group West, and LNL are collaborating on the architecture. Scheduled for completion in Spring 2017, it will actually be the tallest building south of Interstate 90 and north of Tacoma. Quite the specific honor...
