Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, where we scour Seattle's rental listings to see what your monthly budget will get you across the city. This week we look at rentals for $1,500/mo. You tell us which lease you'd sign.
↑ Let's begin in Capitol Hill where you can get a 404 sq. ft. studio in REO Flats for $1,495/mo. The new Built Green building pays homage to its auto row past while providing modern living. Hope you like light cause you're getting lots of it here. Not much room to move but the building is full of amenities, including electric car charging stations.
↑ For a bit more room, we head to North Beach by Golden Gardens where we can get a 622 sq. ft. 1-BR for $1,495/mo. Details are sparse but you're a short walk to the beach and marina and you're also removed from the hustle of the city, if you're looking for that.
↑ Next up we head to Ravenna where you can get this 622 sq. ft. 1-BR in Blakeley Commons for $1,495/mo. Fairly straightforward apartment, the alcove window makes for a nice desk spot. Also puts you in walking distance to University Village and UW campus.
↑ Next we head to Leschi where you can find a 620 sq. ft. 1-BR at 720 Lakeside Ave S for $1,495/mo. Small, carpeted unit but large view of Lake Washington. The complex includes a pool and is a short walk from Leschi Park & Frink Park.
↑ Finally we end up in First Hill where you can get a 457 sq. ft. studio in Coppin Well for $1,505/mo. A pretty central location to everything downtown or in Capitol Hill, it looks like a good spot for those looking for building amenities but not overly concerned with personal space.
