Waterfront Down

Thanks to Bertha, inflation and other additional costs, Seattle mayor Ed Murray wants to tap the brakes on the city's ambitious Seattle Waterfront renovation plans. Murray cites an extra $200M in costs that have been tacked on in order for the project to meet its goals. "I don't believe at this point we can move forward aggressively with planning until we actually solve the Bertha issue." Feel like that's not the last time someone will say that. [ST]
