Skanska's Stone34 For Sale, Stonebridge Buys Lot for Hotel

WALLINGFORD— Stone34, the soon-to-be home of Brooks Sports, has been put on the market by developer Skanska. The 120K-square-foot building, which we toured, cost $51M to build and was Skanska's first commercial development on the West Coast. [PSBJ]

BELLEVUE— Last year, NIU Enterprises paid $31M for the Las Margaritas property in downtown Bellevue. Now, that same company has paid $15.7M for nearly three-quarters of an acre adjacent to that. However, their plan for the prime property remains a mystery. [PSBJ]

DENNY TRIANGLE— We recently looked at early plans for Stonebridge's 300-room hotel project at 924 Howell St. The developer has finally locked up one very important part of that process, owning the land on that site. Stonebridge paid $15.5M for a nearly half-acre parking lot currently there. [PSBJ]
