Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, where we scour Seattle's rental listings to see what your monthly budget will get you across the city. We're bringing it back to the people as we look at rentals for $900/mo. You tell us which lease you'd sign.
↑ We begin in First Hill where a 400 sq. ft. studio at Bradbury Apartments is available for $875K/mo. Living here comes with on-site laundry facilities, high speed internet, a claw foot tub in the bathroom. Close to downtown as well as Capitol Hill, it's a pretty decent spot for university students or young professionals.
↑ Next let's pop over to Capitol Hill where a studio is available in Windsor Arms Apartments for $895/mo. Doesn't list square-footage and they're skimpy on the photos but things look relatively in order, if not modern. All units have hardwood floors, walk-in closets and window blinds. Finally, window blinds!
↑ Next up we visit South Park where Unit 8 at 1201 S Cloverdale St is a 1-BR available for $900/mo. This South Crest Apartments unit features a newly-renovated kitchen and bathrooms with brand new hardwood floors, cabinetry and countertops. Close to bus lines if you're looking for a place on the cheap to commute from.
↑ If you want to stay closer to downtown, there's a 450 sq. ft. studio opening up end of the month at The Charlesgate in Belltown for $900/mo. The first-floor corner unit overlooks Bell St. and the building's private courtyard. The spot features hardwood floors, a walk-in closet big enough to fit another bed in and a sizable kitchen.
↑ Looking for something a little more modern? Try this 459 sq. ft. studio at 525 in The Enclave located in Northgate, available for $883/mo. This apartment is a part of the City of Seattle MFTE program so income restrictions apply. Featuring stainless kitchen appliances, in-unit washer/dryer and plenty of building amenities such as a business center, game room and fitness center.
