Wilshire Capitol is getting in on all that sweet South Lake Union development action with plans for a 244-unit mixed-use complex at 427 9th Avenue and they'll be presenting their plans, along with VIA Architecture, to the design review board on January 7th for recommendation. Beneath the residential units, plans also call for 3,650 sq. ft. of ground-level retail/restaurant space, three levels of below-grade parking and various amenities including a fitness room, bike service & storage area and various terrace areas on the building's podium and rooftop. The complex would join a block that's already engorged with mixed-residential projects, completed or upcoming, though we have a feeling demand won't be an issue.
