Pinky's Kitchen is Closing—For Now; The Hottest Restaurants in Seattle Right Now

TEMPORARY SHUTTERS -- Pinky's Kitchen, the popular barbecue food truck parked in Wallingford, has announced that it has served its last whiskey pulled pork and meat-topped mac and cheese as of Tuesday. The truck's lease is up at the current parking lot location, so Pinky's is closing up shop, selling the truck, and hunting for a new space with the goal of opening in spring 2016.

OPENING ALERT -- The tortas are on, Capitol Hill. In July we learned that Monica Dimas of Nacho Borracho's beloved perma-pop-up Neon Taco would take over Kedai Makan's former window at 1510 E Olive Way sometime this month. It turns out Dimas is right on schedule: Her new Tortas Condesa will debut tonight.
