Redmond's 68-Acre Storybook Farm Price Chopped $1M

What a difference five months makes. We wrote about Storybook Farm back in May (Redmond's 68-Acre Storybook Farm Available For $6.9M.) As the title tells, the price then was $6.9M, actually $6,950,000. Now, the price is $5,900,000. Just to give some perspective on how big a number a million is, a million dollar drop in 166 days (approximately) is a loss to the seller and a benefit to the eventual buyer of a drop of $6,024 per day. It would be interesting to compare that against how much they can rent it out for every day. In any case, it is a sweet, or a least a storybook, deal. You get 6 bedrooms and 4.5 baths in a farmhouse that has a cellar that holds more bottles than you can drink, but what you really get is 65 acres of playground/party space well enough equipped to create epic memories. Pick your approach. Create stories. Book the place for events. Turn it back into a farm, a very fancy farm. The trout, the orchards, the pastures, the gardens, and the barn all are waiting for someone. Finally, a place to hold that party where you have a better chance to crank the music, and have plenty of room where a hundred of your best friends can celebrate - well, whatever. Party on and be excellent to each other!
