Cornerspotted: The Aurora Bridge As It's Built in 1931

Yesterday, we asked you to guess what Seattle bridge this is. It was a fairly easy one but amongst the correct guesses we've giving it to Kalakalot who was first to say we're looking at the Aurora Bridge looking north from Fremont (or Wallingford if you like).





Image: Wikimedia Aurora Avenue sure looks different these days, huh? Pretty much every building shown would soon be demolished to make way for bridge approaches, off-ramps and other access streets. Down below us you'll find the Fremont Troll lurking.
