From the outside, this 1961 midcentury modern doesn't look like much. Sorry if that stings but when you see it flanked by power lines and a mishmash of residential buildings from different eras, it all just looks out of place. Then you step inside and boy does the view change. Not only is the 3,200 sf. home well-maintained, they've kept the vintage feel of the place without letting it get stale. And then there's the view. If you're gonna live in Queen Anne, that's pretty much the view you want and the designers were smart enough to just build windows and placement accordingly. It's not a home for everyone (especially at $1.575M). The kitchen, bathrooms and basement are either kitschy or dated, depending on your tastes. The hidden wet bar is the right kind of kitsch regardless of your tastes. If this 3-BR is your kind of thing, it's classic Seattle living with an iconic Seattle view.
