Taiwan-based Chainqui Development has plans to bring some French style to Belltown. Urban Green Villa would be a 12-story building that includes 116 condos, 5,000 square-feet of street-level retail and 112 parking spots in a below-grade garage. A pedestrian-friendly green wall would great entrants on the main floor while terrace and pocket gardens would line upper levels. The location (2401 Third Avenue) is currently home to a two-story U.S. Bank building that would be demolished. One part of the project that's worth keeping an eye on is the fact that it runs directly over the Battery Street tunnel, which itself will be abandoned once the viaduct comes down. What happens to that site may affect the condos, which would be completed by then.
