Last Week's Biggest Sales: $7.5M for Yarrow Point 7-BR

New, 1 comment

Ed. Note: We've decided to start expanding this weekly feature to include all of King County considering how many high-end home sales happen across Lake Washington.

Listed for: $8.5M
Received: $7.5M
Size: 7-BRm 7.75-bath, 10,061 sf.
Location: 3819 92nd Ave NE, Yarrow Point
The Skinny: When it first listed, we said this place "just looks like an $8.5M place." Turns out we were wrong. It's actually a $7.5M price, we were off by a million. Still not a bad chunk of change and not a bad place to get for that money. There a bedroom, bathroom and fireplace for seven different people in the home with one bathroom leftover to haggle over. Both an indoor spa-pool and outdoor pool so your swimming isn't weather-dependant. A full-sized tennis court, cabana/gazebo, boat dock and fire pit outside. We throw around the word estate a lot but this one really qualifies as an estate.

Listed for: $6.55M
Received: $5.75M
Size: 5-BRm 7.75-bath, 9,820 sf.
Location: 344 McGilvra Blvd E, Washington Park
The Skinny: This place sold for $4.7M in 2013 so they ended up getting a decent ROI, we'd say, even if it was far short of their initial ask. The 2012 Classic Revival has marble kitchen & baths, a home theater, fitness & game rooms and much more, all behind the gates in one of Seattle's swankiest communities.

Listed for: $3.88M
Received: $3.75M
Size: 6-BR, 6-bath, 6,700 sf.
Location: 18 Diamond S Ranch, West Bellevue
The Skinny: Looks like they tried to sell this place in 2013 to no avail. A re-list in August did the trick and they went pending a week later getting slightly less than they asked for. With slightly less than an acre surrounding it, this 2000-home looks ideal for the family that can afford it. The kids won't be bored with the game room inside and basketball court and space to play soccer outside.
