Anchor Down in a $3.3M Ward's Cove Modern Floating Home

It's slick. It's modern. It's almost new (2013). It's a 2,000 square foot, 2 story floating home in Ward's Cove that has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. That's a lot of twos. The price uses a few other numbers and digits: $3,295,000 (plus another $533/month). A futurist's movie could be set here, with a color decor that is white and grey with touches of blue in the kitchen and beige in the bath. Bring in some colorful art and it is sure to stand out and get noticed, modern art, of course. Everything looks clean and rectilinear. Outside, there's a bit more color. Some of the panels of siding are wood, a remembrance of Seattle's timber heritage; and beside the deck on the roof is a patch of grass for very short walks with your dog (a water dog, right?) or an appealing landing pad for Canadian geese. And then there's the view and the location, which are some of the major appealing features: beside downtown Seattle and on Lake Union. Those are values that are timeless.
