Last Week's Biggest Sales: Paul Thiry 4-BR Sold For $3.25M

New, 1 comment

Listed for: $3.5M
Received: $3.25M
Size: 4-BR, 3-bath, 5,430 sf.
Location: 16520 Shore Dr NE, Lake Forest Park
The Skinny: Just listed in October, this one comes with a strong pedigree. It was built by architect Paul Thiry, known as the father of architectural modernism in the Pacific Northwest, in 1934. Couple that with the fact that it sits right on Lake Washington and remains in impeccable condition and there's little surprise it sold so quickly. We're guessing all the cars in the auto showroom are going with the seller so you better bring your own.

Listed for: $2.435M
Received: $2.267M
Size: 2-BR, 2.5-bath, 2,211 sf.
Location: 99 Union St #1404, Downtown Seattle
The Skinny: Welcome back to the Four Seasons Private Residences where this unit just sold are apparently sitting on the open market since 2012. The price had to be right for this two-bedroom residence that features walls of windows framing all of Seattle's best views. They're a little stingy on the pics and details so we'll just have to take their word for it.

Listed for: $1.825M
Received: $1.77M
Size: 4-BR, 2.5-bath, 3,620 sf.
Location: 9601 NE 31st St, Clyde Hill
The Skinny: This Bender Chaffey home was designed by Curtis Gelotte and listed in October. It took a couple buyers to go pending before it found it's final one but they should be happy with the results. Soaring entry foyer, front parlor, formal living and dining rooms, impressive kitchen, generous island, eating nook, adjacent family room. Upstairs the master suite includes a spa bath, walk-in closet and home office.
