To say that architect Frank Tichy has a reputation for bringing New England to the Puget Sound would be to undersell the literal aspect of the statement itself. The East Coast native once supposedly took apart an 18th-century Massachusetts house, put it on a truck and rebuilt the entire thing in Coupeville on Whidbey Island. Tichy built the 4-BR at 8050 NE 8th St. in Medina here, but, you can see right away that he brought that New England influence into the design. The white picket fence, wainscoting wall accents, wood beam ceilings and a dutch door are just some of the attributes that'll have you doing a "wait, where am I?" double take. The home sits on a 21,866 sq. ft. lot with a small, fenced yard and working garden as well. You can live off the land like they used to. Or not. You are spending $1.99M, after all.
