This Blue Ridge Time Capsule Will Transport You to 1968

Dean Martin and the rest of the Rat Pack set the style for when this house was built. There have only been one set of owners since this house was built in 1968, and it looks like it has had only one sense of style. The $1,250,000 asking price gets you a 4,000 square foot house with 6 bedrooms, 3 baths, beach access, and amazing views; but it also gets you a chance to live in a world of Mad Men. They don't sell houses like this anymore, or at least they don't advertise plush carpets, ornate wallpaper, and heavy swagged drapes. Something else that is built in is the high tech intercom and music system, high tech for the time. The stereo is built-in as well, including the fold-out turntable, that probably doesn't have a USB connection. There's probably LP-sized record storage nearby.
