TACOMA -- After years of planning and preparing, the Pierce County Council has finally approved a plan to develop a 330,000 sq. ft. office building in Tacoma developed by Wright Runstad. Construction is scheduled to start in March. 19 county departments will be brought together under one roof for the first time once the project at 3580 Pacific Ave. is completed in 2016. [PSBJ]
DOWNTOWN -- Premiere on Pine just opened in downtown Seattle and it's already up for sale. Developer Holland Partner Group is selling the 40-story complex that includes 24-hour doorman service, a concierge, and a dog lounge. There's also a 3-BR penthouse up top that commands $6,200/month. [PSBJ]
CAPITOL HILL-- The newly completed Zephyr, designed by NK Architects, has officially opened it's doors. The mixed-use project includes 4,784 sq. ft. of street-level retail and restaurant space and a mix of 77 studios, 1-and -2 bedrooms, live/work lofts and luxury penthouses with panoramic views of the city. The LEED Gold certified building is already 70% leased. [NK]
