Queen Anne Slope Home Takes Full Advantage of Views

Project Name: Queen Anne House
Location: East Queen Anne
Professional: ALCOVA architecture, CSES, Earth Solution NW and Travis Gaylord of ALCHEMY Building Company
Timeframe: Two years
Cost: $1M
Description: The owners found a site with great views and wanted to build a modern home that balanced openness and privacy. The layout could be summarized as a reversed floor plan (living space at the top) with an additional floor above with the master suite and a view deck. The upper deck provides an uninterrupted panorama of the city. Built on a steep Slope site, the house stretches vertically to contain its footprint and maximize the view potential.
