Plymouth Housing Group and SMR Architects will present their plans for 7th & Cherry Apartments to the design review board on Wednesday for early design guidance. The proposal is to create a seven-story residential building that will include 83 low-income units (82 studio, one 1-BR), a residential amenity area on the ground floor and a roof deck up top. While the property won't include parking, it will include common rooms, laundry facilities and a computer center. They'll be presenting four options to the board, which include a high-rise model that reaches 300 feet as well as the preferred mid-rise scheme. Altogether, the complex would add 35,890 sf of affordable housing to the First Hill area.
