Who Wants to Own Seattle's Tallest Tower?

New, 1 comment

Is your life goal to own the tallest building in Seattle and the second-tallest building on the West Coast? This is your hour. Beacon Capital Partners is putting the Columbia Center up for sale according to Bloomberg. Beacon recently renovated the 76-story structure, originally completed in 1985, after purchasing it for $621 million in 2007. While Amazon moved out in 2010, it's still the home of Rhapsody International, Freestone Capital Management and features a relatively low 12.5 percent vacancy rate. Perhaps the building is just ready for it's close-up now that it's coming off of a high-profile cameo in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie.
