Follow the Winding Wood Staircase to Your Personal Library

Seattle is a book-lover's city. Unless they're all on your Kindle, you'll need a place to put them. Few houses have libraries, but this one certainly does. When you spend $1,500,000 you can get a few other things too, like 5 bedrooms and 4 baths, - oh yeah, and views. Pick your luxuries, literary or otherwise. Somewhere in those 4,570 square feet you'll probably find what you want. At the top of a winding staircase, made from expert woodwork is a library - separated from the flow of the house, set beside the master suite. Built-in shelves ring the walls, with a few openings for windows. With enough room to lounge, it actually becomes a sanctuary. Four of the five bedrooms are master suites. Why not? One is even big enough to be a mother-in-law apartment, which also explains the second laundry.
