SOUTH LAKE UNION -- Vulcan Real Estate is putting two more buildings up for sale in SLU. First up, the Rosen Building at 60 Republican St., which UW Medicine currently occupies. And then there's the 2201 Westlake Building, where Amazon.com and PATH lease space. [PSBJ]
ROOSEVELT -- Seattle City Attorney Pete Holmes has announced plans to seize control of multiple properties owned by noted Seattle slumlord Hugh Sisley. The plan is to demolish derelict buildings along Northeast 65th Street and turn the lot into a public park. Sisley has been fined over $3 million for public health and safety violations. [KING]
PIONEER SQUARE -- Construction is underway on 200 Occidental, the office building that will become Weyerhaeuser's new headquarters. Urban Visions is the developer and JTM Construction is doing the work on the eventual seven-story structure with 214,000 square feet of space. The building is set to open in 2016 3Q. [DJC]
