Play Some Shuffleboard in This West Seattle Time Capsule

This house was too modern to be on Leave It To Beaver, and was built before The Brady Bunch. West Seattle has a time capsule of a 2,240 square foot house for $475,000 where some of the appliances should be carefully removed and preserved for a museum. The 4 bedrooms and 2.75 baths were just right for the Baby Boom, back when kids had to share rooms. The appliances aren't the only artifacts. Check out the cabinetry, the wood paneling, the brick fireplace, the shutters inside the bathroom windows, and the pastels that are probably back in style, for a while. Definitely don't miss the feature that rarely shows up in mega-mansions and multi-million dollar properties. How many of them include an indoor shuffleboard court beside a basement bar? Set the clock back about fifty years. Don't forget to practice your duck and cover.
