While we were reminded last week that it does not rain in Seattle nearly as much as some think, we still earn our gloomy reputation thanks to a seemingly never-ending blanket of clouds and dreary weather. So it's no surprise to see Seattle atop the Dreariness Index, which combines precipitation with wet days and cloudiness. Seattle actually tied atop the list with Buffalo but beat out Portland, so add it to the list of things we're "better" than them in. [CityLab]
