It's Officially-Official: Bullitt Center is World's Greenest Commercial Building

You know how we've been calling the Bullitt Center the "world's greenest commercial building" since it opened in 2013? Turns out, that label jumped the gun, officially-speaking. Don't get angry, though, it's officially-official now. Certification by the Living Building Challenge has come in and since it's the first office building in the world to win the certification, that makes it the world's greenest by default. Of course, that doesn't mean it's unwarranted and now they have the data to back it up. Last year, the building generated 60 percent more energy than it used and tenants paid nothing for electricity. Your move, everyone else.
