Tacoma-born, Alan Liddle learned his craft at the University of Washington and returned to South Puget Sound as an architect of renown and one of the leading midcentury modernist designers in the Pacific Northwest. The one-level 3-BR at 330 N 10th Street in North Tacoma says it was designed by Liddle, though we're a little confused as it's a 1991 build and Liddle stopped designing homes in the 80's, but, we'll assume there's an explanation. Located in the private Ashton Hillscommunity, it's a simple, open design that takes full advantage of the views with huge windows, including a master suite with its own private viewing deck & courtyard. Out back, nicely landscaped grounds is centered on a small water feature. Altogether, a fine investment for $789K.
