Cornerspotter: Does Construction Ever Stop Here?

New, 3 comments

Cornerspotter is the Curbed Seattle feature in which we show you a historical photo taken somewhere in the city and you identify the location. Impress fellow Curbed readers with your knowledge by leaving guesses in the comments or send them to our tipline: seattle@curbed.com. We'll post the answer on Friday. And hey: no cheating!

This spot is surrounded by construction now and it was surrounded by construction here in 1914. Somehow, that building straight-ahead is still standing. Back then it was an assembly plant for a car manufacturer. Today, it's storage. Still, given the way this neighborhood has changed...and is about to change again, it's impressive to see it make it this far. Any idea what cross-streets this photo was taken from?
