We first saw renderings for the 400-foot-tall 2nd + Stewart tower planned at 1631 Second Avenue back in January but now that Wood Partners and Hewitt Architects have another early design guidance meeting tonight with the design review board, we're getting a chance to see the revised renderings that came from requested departures the first time around. The 39-story tower will include approximately 200 apartment units, 2,670 sf of ground-level retail and 145 stalls of below-grade and above-grad parking. Some of the big changes include making enough room for retail (which may mean a few less residential units), fixes to the facade and above-grade parking improvements. No changes requested for the building's cantilever over the trapezoid-shaped Broadacres Building next door, however.
