THE SHUTTER -- After seven years, Wallingford's Sutra vegetarian restaurant and the next door Sutra Yoga will close at the end of September and end of May, respectively. After learning last spring that the neighboring buildings will be torn down to erect apartments, the two couples who co-own the upscale, prix-fixe, farm-to-table restaurant—Colin Patterson and Amber Tande, and Aaron and Jan Geible—elected not to look for another space.
LAWSUITS -- Peddler Brewing Company in Ballard recently changed the name of one of their most popular brews after Lost Coast, a California-based brewer, told them it was a violation of their trademark. Their Tangerine Wheat is now Tangerine Hefeweizen following a "cease-and-desist" letter.
