In February, Kilroy Realty purchased the nearly 1.9 acres at 333 Dexter Ave. N., more commonly known as the site of KING 5. The broadcaster is on the move and in their place, Kilroy has unveiled plans for an entirely new $375M complex that will include roughly 582,000 sf of office space, 15,000 sf of retail and 800 underground parking stalls. Kilroy and The Miller Hull Partnership will present their early designs for guidance on Wednesday. Their plans include four designs, with a "kinked through-block scheme" as their preferred version. It calls for two 12-story office buildings with a "green street" running along Thomas Street and plenty of other outdoor-friendly space around the complex. First thoughts?
