Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, where we scour Seattle's rental listings to see what your monthly budget will get you across the city. Today we find out what $1,500/month can get you in South Seattle. You tell us which lease you'd sign.
↑ We begin in Sunset Hill, where you can find a 600 sf 1-BR at Cadence for $1,495/mo. The modern building and unit offers a clean, updated design and puts you within two blocks of Hiram M. Chittenden Locks.
↑ Next we go to Lake City where you can find a 1,100 sf 2-BR for $1,490/mo. at Park 3025. All the amenities included, such as full kitchen, ceiling fan, wood-burning fireplace, private patio, in-unit washer & dryer and dishwasher.
↑ Now we go to Capitol Hill where we can find a 506 sf 1-BR at Collins on Pine for $1,495/mo. The place just barely gets to 1-BR status with the help of a sliding wall, but the building offers plenty of amenities, including a nice rooftop deck with a great view of the surroundings.
↑ Next up, North Beacon Hill, where we can find a 550 sf 1-BR at Holgate 12 for $1,495/mo. This is another "open 1-BR" that's snug enough to barely earn the label but you do get a brand-new modern building and a very transit-friendly location.
↑ Finally we go to North Delridge where we can get an 820 sf 1-BR at The Residences at 3295 for $1,500/mo. A lot more space to move around compared to it's 1-BR counterparts. The carpeting is nice, too (or not, if its not your thing).
