You're never going to believe this but Seattle-area home prices and sales continued their upward ascent in April. According to Case-Shiller index data, the average price of existing single-family homes in King, Snohomish and Pierce counties rose 0.9 percent from March, which itself rose one percent from February. The region has now seen home prices rise 7.5 percent since 2015 began. The only saving grace for homebuyers is that we're still around 7 percent off the 2007 peak. But we're getting closer...
