By The Numbers

An educated guess would tell you that millennials are finding it hard to buy a home in Seattle. That can be backed up by numbers thanks to Gene Balk's breakdown that shows King County 25- to 34-year-old homeownership is the lowest it's been since around 1900. The number of homeowners in that age range dropped from 40.7 percent in 1980 to 25.4 percent in 2013 with a steep decline since 2007. Overall homeownership has decreased as well but not nearly at the same level. [FYI Guy] Image: Reg Mombassa
