Here's a Queen Anne Kitchen Makeover With an Italian Touch

New, 1 comment

Project Name: Queen Anne Hill Kitchen Remodel
Location: Queen Anne
Timeframe: Five months
Professional: Genay Bell Design, L Seven Construction, JAS Design Build
Description: Here's a 1920's home that got a brand new kitchen - tearing down to the studs and putting it back together again. The result is a kitchen that's light & bright, more spacious and functional. One unique feature is the custom cabinet above the sink with a dish rack that drains directly into the sink. This came as a request from the homeowner, whose native home is Italy where these cabinets are done quite often. Materials were chosen with the environment and air quality in mind. Cabinets were sourced from DeWils, a manufacturer that is eco-friendly both in the materials used and their manufacturing processes. Quartz countertops by Cambria were chosen for the low VOCs, extreme durability and nonporous surface. Natural Marmoleum linoleum flooring is an environmentally-friendly, highly durable material which is bio-based and bio-degradable.
