Kurt Cobain's Childhood Home Drops Asking Price to $329K

New, 1 comment

A lot of people are still interested in the life and music of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain but not that many of them seem all that interested in buying the Aberdeen house he grew up in. Originally-listed for $500K and then re-listed for $400K in March, they've just chopped the price again to $329K. While the listing does promise this is a "once in a lifetime opportunity to own a piece of rock history," it's also an opportunity to take over a 1,522 square-foot Aberdeen bungalow that is in disrepair and in need of some serious upgrading. Perhaps realizing the location might not be an exciting investment for some, the listing also mentions the chance of "moving the building and incorporating it into a larger institution or private collection." So come as you are, just make sure you bring $329,000 and some vision with you.
