What $2,500/Month Can Rent You in Seattle Right Now

Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, where we scour Seattle's rental listings to see what your monthly budget will get you across the city. Today we find out what $2,500/month can get you in Seattle if you're looking for a 1-BR. You tell us which lease you'd sign.

Let's begin in First Hill where you can get a 952 square-foot 1-BR at Viva for $2,525/month. Right next to Seattle U, its a good location for anyone looking to be close to the neighborhood amenities. Lots of different looks in the listing but the units look bright and new, as you'd probably expect (or at least hope for) with a new complex like this.

Next up we head to Pioneer Square where The Wave in Stadium Place has an 836 square-foot 1-BR for $2,484/month. They alway use the same photos in their listings so you'll have to go see the unit for yourself to see what view you get. We do know they've got high ceilings, large walk-in closets, big windows and host of building amenities. If you're a sports fan, it makes for a nice "commute" to the games.

Next up we head to Capitol Hill where Vox Apartments is offering an 812 square-foot 1-BR for $2,450/month. Looks like you get a pretty sizable kitchen area complete with an island. Solid view from the big windows and sliding door (but don't step out!). The usual smattering of modern building amenities included as well.

Let's stay in Capitol Hill and check out this renovated 1-BR that's asking $2,500/month. No square-footage included but you do get 1.5 bath, washer/dryer, garden deck and storage. Tons of renovated features and since it's two levels you probably end up with a lot of space to move around. Also includes a deck and private entry outside.

Finally we go to Queen Anne where AVA Queen Anne is renting a 1,190 square-foot 1-BR for $2,495/month. Another big space that gives you a chance to breathe and also takes advantage of the light with lots of windows. The bonus is two doors to the bathroom so you don't disturb your friend who's crating on the couch. Or the other way around, we suppose.
