North Aurora Microhouser Looks for Recommendation Tonight


Tonight, Cubix Apartments and Jackson/Main Architecture are hoping for a recommendation on 109 Aurora Apartments, a 4-story building at 1008 N 109th St that will contain 93 small efficiency dwelling units (micro apartments) and seven live/work units. The average square-footage of residences will be 231 sf while live/work units will average out at 310 sf. Plans also call for 13 parking spaces and 100 bike stall spots in the basement. Located on the Northwest boundary of the Aurora-Licton Springs Urban Village, developers are hoping to attract small business owners and artists to what they potentially see as a high-density, transit-oriented community.
