It's not news to anyone who's ever dared to drive the I-5 at rush hour (or most hours, as it were) but Seattle traffic is bad. Not only that, if you've ever felt like your chances of getting into an accident here seem more likely than elsewhere, it's true. According to the 2015 America's Best Drivers Report from Allstate Insurance, Seattle is now 184th out of 200 U.S. cities in terms of avoiding crashing into each other. It's the first time in eleven years that Seattle has ranked among the bottom 20. According to Allstate, your average Seattle driver will go 6.9 years between accidents and Seattleites are 40.7 percent more likely to get in an accident than the average American. Thinking about moving to the Eastside to avoid the accidents? Don't bother because Bellevue checks in at 174th on the list, also their worst rating. Those Pronto bikes are looking better and better, aren't they?
