University of Washington grad Jerry Gropp is known for his budget-conscious designs that spread out across the country in the 60's. However, he also designed custom homes for a variety of clients across the Pacific Northwest and one such 5-BR still stands in Cedar Park where it recently hit the market asking $1.05M. The 1966 midcentury modern was once featured by the Seattle Times as "House of the Week" and it's easy to see why. Inside, wood-beamed planked ceilings and hardwood & slate floors typify the era while outside the tree-nestled residence looks out over Lake Washington. The massive porch stretches across the length of the entire home and the massive windows let tons of light into the living room. Today this 3,050 square-foot home is a time capsule looking for the right buyer to come along and keep it intact.
