Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, where we scour Seattle's rental listings to see what your monthly budget will get you across the city. Today we decided to find out what $1,400/month can get you around town with the added caveat that you need a place that is pet-friendly. You tell us which lease you'd sign.
↑ We begin in Fairmount Park where The Blake has a 438 square-foot studio available for $1,425/month. That doesn't sound like a lot of room for you and your furry friend. However there are lots of in-building amenities, including an onsite dog walk & pet wash, to get you out and about.
↑ Next let's head to Uptown where you can find a 487 square-foot studio at Harrison Square for $1,406/month. The unit features a new kitchen and bathroom with upgraded countertops, new wood-style flooring, an in-home washer/dryer and private balcony. Since there isn't much room in the apartment, it's a good thing there's a rooftop off-leash dog park.
↑ Next it's off to Magnolia where you can get a 715 square-foot 1-BR at Overlook at Magnolia for $1,400/month. A lot more space than the other choices. Hopefully your pet is well trained because there's a lot of potential carpet hazards ahead. The oversized deck should help in a jam.
↑ Now we go to Minor where Bravo Apartments offers a 470 square-foot studio for $1,425/month. This great-looking unit is available October 31st and maximizes space with a Murphy bed and washer/dryer "closet space."
↑ Finally we end with Square One in Roosevelt where you can get a 501 square-foot open 1-BR for $1,413/month. This unit features a modern kitchen with flat panel cabinetry, quartz counters, Energy Star stainless steel appliances, in-home washer/dryer and wood plank-style flooring throughout. Big open space up on the roof for you and your pet as well.
