This $4.5M Queen Anne House is Not a Condo, We Swear

New, 2 comments

Some houses are snapped up in days. Others take years. The sellers should be commended for their patience.

With its underground parking, locking gate, pointed perimeter fence this $4,500,000 building on Queen Anne could be mistaken for a small, exclusive condo complex; but, it's not. In 2013, on a 3,208 square foot lot, they a 3,578 square foot house with 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and some very urban, modern styling. The wall facing the city is almost completely windows because of an impressive view looking down on the neighbors, along the waterfront to downtown, across Elliott Bay, all backdropped by the Cascades and Mt. Rainier (or Tahoma). Inside is rectilinear and geometric including the close-fitting fireplace mantel bricks and the angular shower. Even the tub and sinks have square corners. Considering that it was built two years ago, and has been on the market for one year, either it sat empty, or the original owners had to move on, or out. Ponder it all from the 1,200 square foot rooftop deck. Who knows? Maybe you can buy it and subdivide it into condos after all.
