Last Week's Biggest Sales: Mercer Island Manse Gets $4.1M

New, 3 comments

Listed for: $4.58M
Received: $4.08M
Size: 5-BR, 4.25-bath, 4,887 sf.
Location: 8252 Avalon Dr, Mercer Island
The Skinny: This massive waterfront estate comes complete with a separate guest apartment, multiple patios and sitting areas out back and enough space in the driveway to have a full-court basketball game if you so desired. Pretty quintessential as far as Mercer Island mansions go. They still had to come down a few hundred grand to get the pending offer, however.

Listed for: $4.2M
Received: $3.55M
Size: 4-BR, 4.25-bath, 4,560 sf.
Location: 9520 SE Shoreland Dr, Bellevue
The Skinny: This Meydenbauer Bay luxury home was originally listed in March at $4.2M. Despite an early pending, it stayed on the market for a while, dropping price a couple times and eventually finding a buyer in October, though at much less than that original ask. It's certainly got all the interior amenities you'd expect. It can't match some area homes in terms of view but if you want a place with all of the comforts of home (plus room for a pool table), this works just fine.

Listed for: $2.19M
Received: $2.19M
Size: 4-BR, 3.75-bath, 3,570 sf.
Location: 207 5th Ave W, Kirkland
The Skinny: This new construction didn't last long on the open market. Listed on November 30, it went pending by December 5 at asking price. You can see why with it's big, bright spaces and huge windows. It's easy to open them up and bring the views of Seattle and beyond into the modern home as well. Snug fit in the neighborhood but it's been constructed to make your own space feel as cozy and welcoming as possible.
