Cornerspotter: A Winter Wonderland in 1937

New, 4 comments

Cornerspotter is the Curbed Seattle feature in which we show you a historical photo taken somewhere in the city and you identify the location. Impress fellow Curbed readers with your knowledge by leaving guesses in the comments or send them to our tipline: seattle@curbed.com. We'll post the answer on Friday. And hey: no cheating!

Pictured: A winter wonderland in 1937 Seattle. As the No. 6 trolley rolls by, chilly Seattleites make their was across the street, potentially to visit Raymer's Books, Pacific Coast China Company or the Rotary Club. Perhaps they're staying at the Hotel Albany, which has housekeeping just in case you weren't sure. We didn't get much snow this winter (so far) so it might be hard to make out, but what intersection are we looking at?
