$15M waterfront estate lists on Mercer Island’s North End

It’s now the second most-expensive property for sale on Mercer Island

Earlier this week we saw a $17M listing pop up in Bellevue. Never to be outdone, Mercer Island saw that and decided it needed to up the ante as well.

A waterfront estate on the north end of the island just hit the market asking $15,000,000, making it the second most-expensive property for sale on Mercer Island and tying it for sixth on the list of most expensive King County properties currently on the market.

Built in 2002, this seven-bedroom, 9,150 square-foot residence sits right on the waterfront and uses the walls of windows to take full advantage of the view. All of the main rooms are bright and shiny in a luxuriously sterile way. Except for the reading room, which boxes you in with warm woods and built-ins for your many books.

(Also, is that an Emmy in the back of that room? Guess that explains why this place didn’t list with it’s address...)

Upstairs the master suite probably has the best view in the whole place, not to mention quite a few luxury finishes inside. You’ll also find the rest of the bedrooms and an office up top.

Down below, there’s a wine cellar big enough to require a ladder as well as a home gym. Get a workout in, grab a bottle of wine, and then head out back to the pool overlooking the waterfront on a sunny day. Or you can get in the boat at the end of your private dock and go for a sail instead.
