Big Reveal: $599K for cute-as-hell Ballard charmer

How do the price sound to you?

Yesterday we asked you to guess the asking price for this 4-BR, 1-bath, 1931 home in Ballard. We got a bunch of comments from folks but none of them actually guessed an asking price, thereby defeating the purpose. Sarah Emerson guessed via Twitter that the asking price was $685K and that was close enough to be deemed the winner.

Actual asking price: $599K.

Everyone can complain about the condos and mixed-use projects going up around Ballard but if you want that classic neighborhood house, it still exists. Look no further than this charmer. Built in 1931 and it shows. There's still some work to be done, especially in the basement. But there's also a lot to like here. Nice built-ins throughout, wood fireplace, cute kitchen table space, and a fenced backyard for the dog. There's also an EV charger setup already, just in case you didn't think this older place could move forward.

So, now that you know, do you think that’s a good price?
