National parks entrance fees are waived for Friday

Good day to visit Mount Rainier National Park and others

It’s been a week, you guys. Heck, it’s been a year. If you need a place to decompress and get away from everything, a National Park might be the best kind. Good news then that in observation of Veteran’s Day and because the National Park Service is turning 100-years-old this year, admission to all National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee is waived today (Friday, November 11).

Here in Washington State, that includes the four following parks:

Fort Vancouver National Historic Site

Lewis & Clark National Historical Park

Mount Rainier National Park

Olympic National Park

With everything going on, this sounds like a great time to take in the natural splendor of Mount Rainier or The Olympics, so long as you don’t mind a little road trip. We’ll see you again on Monday.
