Last week's biggest sales: Escala penthouse closes for whopping $8M

New, 4 comments

It’s the most expensive Seattle condo sale since 2009

Listed for: $8.8M

Received: $8M

Size: 3-BR, 3-bath, 5,170 sf.

Location: 1920 4th Avenue, #3001, Downtown

The Skinny: When this Escala penthouse listed in September, we wondered if this could end up being the most expensive condo sale in Seattle history. Even at $8M, that’s still bigger than any Seattle sale we’ve seen in years. Per PSBJ, a 3-BR condo at Market Place Tower sold for $9.75M in 2009. By the way, this place actually went pending after one day on the market.

Listed for: $3.88M

Received: $3.415M

Size: 4-BR, 3.25-bath, 4,807 sf.

Location: 9211 SE Shoreland Drive, Bellevue

The Skinny: Originally listed in October 2015, this one went on and off the market a few times, changing prices until they finally went pending in early September 2016. The luxury home includes 81-feet of waterfront with a private dock and boat lift. Not a bad Meydenbauer Bay view either.

Listed for: $2.98M

Received: $2.98M

Size: 5-BR, 6-bath, 6,900 sf.

Location: 18025 NE 136th Street, Redmond

The Skinny: Well that was easy. Listed on September 26, they went pending a few weeks later for the asking price. The luxury residence rests on a 5.2-acre estate along with a heated salt water pool, lighted tennis court, and terrace with fireplace.
