An upgraded 1908 home is available for under $1M

Yesterday we asked you to take a stab at the asking price for this renovated 4-BR, 2.25-bath house in Capitol Hill. Commenter gwarren21 make a guess of $650K and that was close enough to be deemed the winner. The actual asking price: $729K.

Originally built in 1908, this 23rd Avenue home has been renovated, retrofitted, and remodeled for modern living. That said, they’ve kept a lot of the original quirks to give it some personality. The corner-pocket fireplace in the living room is a nice touch and there’s a clear sense of the original layout still in play. But there’s also plenty of great upgrades. The kitchen gleams and seems like the kind of place you could film a cooking show in a pinch. The converted dresser in one of the bathrooms shows off the playful spirit behind a lot of the remodel as well. Out back, raised beds, multiple patio spaces, and a full garage complete the package.

So now that you know, does the price sound right?
