What $1,200 rents you right now around Seattle

Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, where we scour Seattle's rental listings to see what your monthly budget will get you across the city. Today we decided to take a look at $1,200/month around the city. You tell us which lease you'd sign.

Let’s start at Prexy in University District where you can get a studio apartment for $1,225/month. The unit looks stylish and modern with a nice view on your private deck. Location-wise you’re a little north of the campus and main drag so it should be a bit quieter.

Next we head to Capitol Hill where there’s a 475-square-foot studio available for $1,225/month at Winchester Apartments. This 1920s brick building gives off the vibe from a bygone era. It’s a classic apartment with hardwoods and a vintage kitchen and bathroom.

The Monticello is an old-school apartment building in First Hill but you can get a remodeled 384-square-foot 1-BR here for $1,205/month. There’s a bedroom in there, promise! Close to the Swedish First Hill Campus and a few blocks form Seattle University.

Now we go to Northbrook Place in North Seattle’s Victory Heights where you can find a 1-BR apartment for $1,225/month. This bigger unit is good for commuters, close to I-5 and Northgate Mall. The 650-square-foot 1-BR,
